Amazement towards God by Pastor Melissa Scott

This will be my little capstone on all this. Matthew 13, “What’s this have to do with this? Matthew 13:46 where we read of “When he had found one pearl of great price, he went and sold all that he had, and bought it.” I want you to listen to me. Now I’m going to speak for myself with a heart of gratitude and amazement towards God.

When God created the earth He spoke, it didn’t cost anything but His breath. He spoke and the whole world from nothing became. But to redeem me and to redeem you cost a lot of tears, agony and the shed blood of His Son. So when you read these passages remember you are that pearl. I am that pearl, the treasure that He’s going to come and take away like a thief in the night.

Pastor Melissa Scott tells us that if you are one of those people recognizing the price that was paid for you and I can tell you there’s not a day in my life when I don’t wake up and say thank you Jesus for another day to serve you because I know the price that you paid. I don’t deserve it. I don’t know why but I’m here and I want to be one of those that you come to get as your treasure on that day.

When we get into Revelation as we go you’ll see how people have made a mess of this book, which is a road map to show us ultimately for those that are in Christ, whether you be here, whether you be in the ground or somewhere else, we’ll all see Jesus. Whether it be in the air, in the ground, wherever we’ll be, we’ll all see Him. He makes that perfectly clear. I want to continue on this more than you know, but that’s all I’ve got to say for today.
